small Kurinuki vase | nut-brown stoneware, pale white glaze

This Kurinuki vase is handmade from nut-brown stoneware and coated with pale white glaze, fired up to 1170º. Each piece is entirely hand carved, so there will be differences between those pictured and those received.
 
Kurinuki is an ancient Japanese technique of carving from a single block of clay.

Due to the strictly handmade nature of this product, size and colour may vary slightly from the image. All pieces are food safe and may be washed in the dishwasher, although hand washing is the best option.
