Hand-thrown bowl in dark brown stoneware, painted with a blue underglaze and finished with a soft lilac glaze. Fired to 1190ºC. The exterior is decorated using the traditional Japanese Hakeme technique, featuring expressive white slip brushstrokes beneath the glaze. Because each bowl is entirely handmade on the wheel, every piece is unique. Please expect delightful variations in form, brushwork, and glaze expression from the one pictured.
